SACRIFICE: Brand New Song Available For Streaming

May 2, 2009

Reunited Canadian thrashers SACRIFICE have made a new song, "The Great Wall", available for streaming on their MySpace page. The track comes off the band's much-anticipated new album, "The Ones I Condemn", which is scheduled for a mid-June release via Brazil's Marquee Records. The CD was recorded at Rouge Valley Studio in Toronto, Ontario with engineer Darius Szczepaniak, who has previously worked with I MOTHER EARTH, SUM 41 and EDWIN, among many others. Guest musicians on the album include Jed Simon (ZIMMERS HOLE, TENET, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, ARMOROS),who "[laid] down a total whammy-bar barrage," and the band's old Scarborough metal comrade Dave Hewson (SLAUGHTER, STRAPPADO),who lent some guest vocals to "The Devil's Martyr".

A couple of additional teasers for "The Ones I Condemn" can be found below.

SACRIFICE is planning to release a new DVD, "Live Reanimation", later in the year, featuring the band's complete reunion show from September 2006 at the Day Of The Equinox II festival in Toronto, Ontario at the Opera House. The group's original lineup performed tracks from their classic metal releases: "Torment In Fire" (1986),"Forward To Termination" (1987) and "Soldiers of Misfortune" (1990).
